About Us
The Firefighter John Paul Memory Memorial (FJPMM) Foundation was founded in 2006 exclusively for educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The FJPMM Foundation is governed by a six member community-based, volunteer-run board of directors and recorded bylaws.
The Foundation was established as a tribute to fallen Firefighter John Paul “JP” Memory who died in the line-of-duty on September 16, 2006, at the young age of nineteen.
The purpose of the FJPMM Foundation is to raise funds to provide scholarships and tuition reimbursements, particularly as it relates to an educational curriculum in fire and emergency medical services.
The mission is to establish and administer a scholarship fund for the benefit of individuals who wish to pursue or further their education in areas relevant to fire or medical services as a career in Fire Departments or Emergency Rescue Squads.
