Many of us often send contributions to one or more charities, sometimes to honor someone or to memorialize the passing of a friend, relative or business associate. Many of us would like to be remembered for making a significant contribution to the life of our community. Whether we have lived here for one year or all our lives, it is the people around us who have brought joy and purpose to our lives. When planning our estates, it seems fitting to put something back into the community which has nurtured us.
